
Christian Dumpitak is managing director of iGRAD at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf since 2009, where he established qualification programs, as well as career and conflict counselling services for early-stage researchers. Christian studied biology and received his doctoral degree in the field of physical biology in 2003. As postdoc he became increasingly responsible for teaching and research management, shifting to graduate education in 2008. In the German University Association of Advanced Graduate Training (UniWiND) he has been engaged for many years, among others as coordinator of different working groups and as spokesperson of UniWiND's advisory council. As certified trainer and coach for professional teaching at university level Christian has extensive experience with advanced trainings in the field of academic teaching and staff development for various institutions on a national and international level.
