Statement of Support for the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (C&C) and the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R):

THESIS e. V. is a nationwide interdisciplinary not‐for‐profit association supporting and representing the interests of doctoral candidates and doctorate holders in Germany. It fully endorses the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers as well as the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, initiated by the European Commission. THESIS has been promoting fair and transparent recruitment of early career researchers and appropriate working conditions at the national level since its foundation in 1991 and as a founding member of Eurodoc – The European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers – at the European level since 2002. We hereby wish to confirm our commitment to supporting the implementation of the C&C and of the HRS4R in Germany and throughout Europe.
